Waste2Energy Croatia

Croatia is the primary area for the deployment of the Waste4ME installation, the new 24/7 operated, multi-flow pyrolysis installation that handles 8000 tons of household waste per year.

As Croatia is part of the European Union, the implementation of the new EU waste legislation and sustainability goals are essential for the government.

SophSys has invested in the development of several Waste2Energy projects in Croatia as part of their goal to help reduce the pollution we as humanity create.

Current projects will recycle 110.000 tons of household waste per year into 72.000 MWh per year onto the national grid.

The projects are a C3 chemical recycling technology as set by EU standards.
